Red Security Systems has been awarded Bronze membership of The Green Organisation, one of the world’s leading environment groups. Membership is restricted to companies, councils and communities that can demonstrate the effective measures they have introduced for environmental benefit.
A spokesman for The Green Organisation, commented: “Red Security Systems practice what they preach when it comes to environmental concerns and they are actively adopting measures that will continue to improve their environmental performance for generations to come.”
Just some of the initiatives Red Security has introduced include increased investment in innovative solar-powered CCTV systems, a ‘re-use and recycle’ policy for all system upgrades and a system donation scheme that allows clients to donate their systems to charity when they upgrade (refurbished and fitted by Red), rather than sending it to landfill.
Yann Maciejewski of Red Security Systems said: ” We know that sustainability isn’t just important for us at Red Security, it’s a key concern for many of our clients, too. By offering solutions with a lower carbon footprint, we’re meeting increased business and consumer demand, protecting the environment, and hopefully supporting a wider trend towards sustainable solutions across our industry. We are delighted to have measured up to the demanding criteria of The Green Organisation and will continue to develop sustainable solutions that support the green agenda”.
